The surface as now prepared is concrete ready other than the normal trim.

My discussions with the structural engineers, after their rigorous testing of the enzyme treated soils, indicated we could reduce the floor slab thickness due to the stability of the Eko-Soil treated sub-grade. The resultant savings were substantial.

From a structural engineering standpoint the fact that we have been able to avoid over excavation and the importation of FCR for subfloor support but still achieve CBR values well in excess of our usual expectation in such a high clay environment has resulted in significant savings.

The combination of structural advantages coupled with a working platform that significantly reduced delays from wet weather access as well as removing the need for costly imported stone has provided significant construction savings.
